Your data stays with you
Everything you write in Steady — check-ins, reflections, wins, wind-downs, all of it — is stored in your browser's local storage, on your device. It is never uploaded, synced, or sent anywhere. There is no server to send it to.
What we collect
Nothing. No accounts, no analytics, no cookies, no trackers, no ads, no third-party scripts. We can't see what you write, and neither can anyone else with access to this website's infrastructure.
What this means in practice
Because your data lives only on your device: clearing your browser data, deleting the app, or switching devices will erase or leave behind your history. Use the "Download backup" button in the Progress tab to keep a copy you control.
